The MACH3 card based on the USB port has the following advantages over the parallel port card:

Fortunately, MACH3 also supports USB ports, network ports, etc. and this is significantly different from the parallel port:

1. The MACH3-USB control card does not need to consider that it must output a pulse on the parallel port within the specified time. This greatly reduces the work of MACH3. Therefore, it also reduces the requirements for the computer.

2. The maximum speed of the output pulse such as the USB port can be increased indefinitely. This is determined by the performance of the external interface card. Therefore, some USB port cards support a maximum pulse output of 200Khz and some support 400Khz. Whether it supports 2MHZ, it has nothing to do with MACH3.
