The PCI motion control card is based on a high-performance four-axis servo/step motion control card. Up to 16 control cards can be used in a single system to control 64 servo/stepper motors simultaneously. And it supports plug and play, with a variable position ring function. It also has advanced features such as changing speed and target position in real time during machine motion, using continuous interpolation.

PCI motion control card features:

  1. 32-bit PCI bus, plug, and play.
  2. The 4-axis servo/stepper motor can be controlled, and each axis can be independently controlled without affecting each other.
  3. Its pulse output has a frequency error of less than 0.1%.
  4. Its maximum pulse output frequency is 4MHz.
  5. The pulse output can be either a single pulse (pulse + direction) or double pulse (pulse + pulse).
  6. The 4-axis has position feedback input, 32-bit counting, and the maximum counting range is -2,147,483,648~+2,147,483,647.
  7. It can control the line or S curve for acceleration/deceleration.
  8. It can control asymmetric linear acceleration/deceleration motion.
  9. It can control any 2-3 axis linear interpolation.
  10. It can control any 2-axis circular interpolation.
  11. It can use continuous interpolation functio0     \n with a maximum drive speed of 2MHz.
  12. Each axis has two 32-bit compare registers for the position and size comparison of the logical position counter or the actual position counter, which can be used for software limit.
  13. It can receive various signals of the servo motor driver: such as encoder Z-phase signal, in-position signal, alarm signal and so on.
  14. There are 3 stop signals per axis, which can be used for origin search and encoder Z phase search.
  15. It can control the speed in real time in motion.
  16. It can read the logical position, actual position, drive speed, acceleration and drive status in real time during the movement.
  17. Its position counter has a variable ring function, and the logical position counter and real position are 32-bit long up/down ring counters.
  18. Each axis has 8 in 8 out digital i/o, except for 2 limit signals, it can be used as general i/o. The digital output can be used for servo on, servo alarm reset and other signals.
  19. The input of each input signal equip with an integral type filter and the filter function of the specified input signal can be valid or invalid. The time constant of the filter can select from one of eight categories.
  20. It can use the fixed line speed mode.
  21. It has multiple ways of automatic homing.

  24. It has a synchronous stop function triggered by an external signal.
  25. It has a target position synchronized motion function.
