When the user holds the wireless handwheel to press a button or shake the handwheel:
1. The handwheel transmits data to the receiver of the machine via a wireless network.
2. The receiver data is transmitted to the machine motion control card.
3. The motion control card controls the motor of the machine tool to realize the wireless control of the handwheel.
If the handwheel is far away from the machine, or the wireless is disturbed, the transmitted pulse data may be lost. The receiver then transmits no information to the machine. So the machine will not continue to move.
However, XHC’s wireless handwheel guarantees data stability and reliable transmission, so that data will not be lost within the normal communication distance. How?
1. Data retransmission mode, as shown in the following figure:
For example, if the user makes a pulse with the XHC wireless handwheel, then the handwheel will send this to the receiver. If the data is lost due to interference, the handwheel will continue to resend the data to the machine until the receiver receives it. Moreover, the response retransmission is completed within 4 milliseconds, which will not cause the delay in data, ensuring the timeliness of operation! Therefore, the way of responding to retransmission ensures that the data is stable and reliable.
2. Frequency hopping mode, the working principle is as follows:
The XHC Wireless Handwheel does not work with a single channel. Unlike the traditional radio, it is unclear if it is disturbed. It has 64 working channels. That is, while working, it is detected whether there are other sources of interference in the channel. If so, the handwheel will select a new channel to work, ensuring reliable transmission of data and not losing.
